Welcome to Wellness by J&T. We are Jas & Trishna, two experienced and very passionate Pharmacists with a wealth of expertise and knowledge in healthcare and holistic wellness.

Founded on a strong, trusting friendship and shared experience as former colleagues, we have come together to create a vitamin injection service dedicated to supporting your health and vitality.

We offer a range of vitamin injections tailored to your individual health and wellness goals, alongside pharmacist-led health consultations and education wellbeing talks. Our services are available from the comfort of your own home, as well as local gyms, wellness events and workplace wellbeing initiatives.

Hi, I’m Jas! My passion for healthcare has always been driven by a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves to feel empowered when making decisions about their health.

Over the past decade I have practiced as a hospital and community pharmacist and currently work as a senior prescribing clinical pharmacist in a GP practice. I take immense joy in giving individuals perspective on how science and holistic health practices should coexist for optimal health.I've seen first-hand how expert pharmaceutical care, combined with an understanding of personal lifestyle choices can transform lives.

I want to help you feel your best, mentally, physically, and emotionally and thanks to my medical background and experience, I am able to provide you with an expert view on your options to support your health and wellness goals.

Hi, I’m Trishna! With a background as a pharmacist and a passion for health and wellness, I’m here to help you feel your absolute best. Over the years, I’ve worked across well renowned NHS hospitals, community pharmacies, and GP practices in London, refining my expertise in personalised, patient-focused care.

My training in aesthetics paired with my love for holistic wellbeing have allowed me to offer a well rounded, tailored approach to health. Whether this is through bespoke vitamin therapy, evidence-based guidance, or simply helping you take that next step towards feeling amazing, my goal is to support you every step of the way. Together, we can unlock your body's full potential and create a healthier, happier you!

Let’s talk hormonal health…

Our hormones are constantly fluctuating and play a role in everything from metabolism and energy to reproduction, mood, sleep and stress responses.

And while we can’t simply “fix” or “balance” our hormones with a few lifestyle changes, there are things we can do to support healthy hormonal function.

Vitamin injections can sometimes divide opinions.

Some people think they’re ‘just another wellness trend’. Others wonder why you wouldn’t simply take a tablet. And some assume they’re a ‘quick fix’.

The truth? It’s far more nuanced than that.

Like any healthcare intervention, vitamin injections aren’t right for everyone. But for the right person, following an appropriate assessment, they are a valuable option to support your health and wellbeing.

As pharmacists, our role isn’t to recommend injections to everyone. It’s to assess your symptoms, medical history, medications, supplements, lifestyle and goals, then help you make an informed decision that’s right for you.

Vitamin D in summer? ☀️

One of the most common questions we get at this time of year is:

“Do I still need to take Vitamin D now that the sun’s out?”

The answer isn’t always straightforward.

While sunlight is our main source of Vitamin D, many people in the UK still don’t produce or maintain optimal levels throughout the summer. Time spent indoors, sunscreen use, clothing, skin tone, age and individual health factors can all influence how much Vitamin D we make.

For some people, continuing supplementation throughout the summer may still be appropriate.

Vitamin D injections can also be a convenient option for those looking to maintain their levels all year round, particularly where they’re considered appropriate following an individual consultation.

As always, the right approach depends on you - your lifestyle, your health and your individual circumstances.

Blood Sugar Balance 101 🍬
Evidence-based, practical, no hype.

Blood sugar has become one of the biggest wellness buzzwords in recent years but do we really need to fear every “glucose spike”?

The reality is a little more nuanced.

For most people, the body does an incredible job of regulating blood sugar through hormones such as insulin and glucagon. Rather than chasing quick fixes or viral health hacks, the focus should be on supporting long-term metabolic health.

The strongest evidence still points to the basics:

✔️ Balanced meals with protein, fibre and healthy fats
✔️ Regular movement
✔️ Quality sleep
✔️ Stress management

There’s also growing interest in supplements such as berberine and myo-inositol. Whilst some research is promising, they aren’t suitable for everyone and work best alongside healthy lifestyle habits, not instead of them.

Creatine is one of the most researched supplements available and, for most healthy people, it’s considered safe. 💊

Although it’s best known for its role in exercise performance, growing research is exploring its potential benefits for brain health and cognitive function too. It’s one of the reasons we’re seeing so many more people taking creatine.

However, here’s the interesting bit…

Creatine can cause your blood creatinine level to increase slightly. Creatinine is one of the markers we use to estimate kidney function (eGFR), so this can sometimes make kidney blood tests appear “worse” than expected, even when the kidneys themselves are completely healthy.

That’s why context matters. 🩺

If you’re taking creatine, always let your healthcare professional know before blood tests or if you’re discussing your kidney function. It helps us interpret your results more accurately and avoid unnecessary worry.

⚠️ If you have existing kidney disease or reduced kidney function, don’t start taking creatine without first discussing it with your GP, specialist or renal team, as it may not be appropriate for everyone.

People often see the injection.

What they don’t always see are the conversations behind it.

Injectable Peptides 101 🧬

Peptides are one of the most talked-about topics in wellness right now. Some have genuine scientific promise, while others are running ahead of the evidence. As always, it’s important to separate excitement from evidence, understand what we know (and don’t know) and make informed decisions about your health.

Curiosity is important but so is caution. Always seek advice from reputable, appropriately qualified professionals and be mindful of where your information and products are coming from.

5 supplements (and 1 drink!) your healthcare team should know about 💊

Just because something is available over the counter or marketed as “natural” doesn’t mean it can’t affect your medicines, health conditions or treatment outcomes.

It’s always a good idea to let your pharmacist, GP or other healthcare professional know about any supplements you’re taking - or thinking about taking.

This helps ensure they’re safe, appropriate and optimised for you, your medical history, your lifestyle and any medicines you’re taking.

The goal isn’t to stop you taking supplements - it’s to make sure you’re getting the most benefit from them, safely and effectively.

🌿 Allergy season is here… and if you’re already reaching for the tissues, you’re not alone.

As a pharmacist, these are some of the simple strategies we often recommend to help minimise symptoms and stay well throughout allergy season:

✔️ Check local pollen forecasts and plan outdoor activities accordingly.

✔️ Keep windows and doors closed, particularly during peak pollen times (usually mid-morning and early evening).

✔️ Shower and change clothes after spending time outdoors to help remove pollen from your hair, skin and clothing.

✔️ Avoid drying clothes or bedding outside on high-pollen days.

✔️ Wear sunglasses outdoors and consider applying a small amount of petroleum jelly around the nostrils to help trap pollen particles.

✔️ Keep indoor surfaces dust-free by wiping them with a damp cloth regularly.

✔️ If you suffer with hayfever each year, consider starting a non-drowsy antihistamine before symptoms become severe.

✔️ Saline nasal rinses and steroid nasal sprays can also be helpful for managing congestion and inflammation.

Remember, prevention is often easier than treating symptoms once they’re in full swing.

Real talk… NAD+ 🧬

I’ve (Jas) now had a number of NAD+ sessions myself and genuinely noticed a difference in my energy, focus and concentration over time. For me personally, the benefits weren’t instant after the very first dose - it built gradually across the course, which is something I always discuss with clients too.

NAD+ is involved in cellular energy production, repair and overall cellular function, which is why many people explore it for support with:
– energy levels
– mental clarity & focus
– recovery & resilience
– healthy ageing & overall vitality

Electrolytes are everywhere right now - but do we actually need them?

They’re essential minerals (like sodium, potassium and magnesium) that support hydration, nerve function and muscle activity.

While there’s a lot of marketing around electrolyte sachets and powders, they’re not a daily necessity for most people. A balanced diet and staying well hydrated is usually enough.

They can be helpful in certain situations such as moderate to intense exercise, heavy sweating or illness - but context really matters.
